Paul begins with a diagnosis of division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What theology calls sin<\/em> (hamartia) is, in the dramatic sense, a deviation \u2014 a movement away from unity, from the source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The human story begins in distance, not in harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Hamartia \u2014 Missing the mark<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hamartia literally means \u201cto miss the mark.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Paul\u2019s terms, this is the moment of revelation in Christ: the discovery that the story was never merely about guilt, but about awakening to participation in a larger narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the dramatic reversal where meaning begins to emerge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Invisible Meaning \u2014 En Christ\u014d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Paul\u2019s key phrase en Christ\u014d<\/em> (\u201cin Christ\u201d) describes a state of awareness rather than belief:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In dramatic terms, it is the restoration of harmony, when the conflict that once defined the plot is integrated into a higher understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Awareness of Unity \u2014 The End and the Beginning<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When the story resolves, what returns is not the past but its meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Paul, awareness of unity is the final revelation \u2014 the recognition that history itself has been the medium of redemption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What drama calls resolution<\/em>, theology names salvation<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both point to the same realization: the story was whole all along; only our awareness lagged behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
